BROOKE HOBGOOD, MD

President & COO

Dr.  Brooke Hobgood serves as Partner, President, and Chief Operating Officer for Masked Rider Capital Holdings (MRCH), bringing more than a decade of expertise in leadership and business to the company. Her role consists of managing the day-to-day operations and casting a long-term vision for the private equity investment firm. 

Board-certified in anesthesiology, Dr. Hobgood served as the medical director for Lubbock Plastic Surgery Center before joining MRCH. She was responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and procedures compliant with the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities to ensure patient safety during her time as medical director. Her passion was centered around delivering innovative, excellent patient care while maintaining operating room efficiency.  

She continues to be involved in the medical field as a founder of Ivy Specialty Compounding, a local compounding and retail pharmacy. The company is committed to providing efficient, client-centered services to optimize a patient’s pharmaceutical experience. Dr. Hobgood provides strategic decisions and implements streamlined processes to provide exceptional service based on both prescribers’ and clients’ needs. 

Dr. Hobgood was recently invited to serve as a Director for the Texas Lyceum, a nonprofit cultivating the next generation of leaders by engaging in thoughtful discussion surrounding the current issues facing the great state of Texas. She also serves as the Chair-Elect for the Board of Trustees at Lubbock Christian School where she places an emphasis on the role education plays in the personal and professional development of this next generation. She provides insight from her professional experience to enhance the business community by also serving on the Board of Directors for both Carizma Motors and Metallenium, LLC. 

Dr. Hobgood completed her residency in anesthesiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center after graduating with honors from Baylor University School of Medicine in 2008. Before medical school, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Pepperdine University. 

Together, she and her husband, Wes, live in Lubbock with their three children.
