MRC Partner, President, and Chief Operating Officer, Brooke Hobgood, was invited to join The Texas Lyceum, a civic organization founded with the intent to foster thoughtful dialogue on critical issues that resonate with Texans in a nonpartisan, nonpolitical, and non-adversarial setting.
As a new class member, known in The Lyceum as Directors, Brooke will serve a six-year term during which she attends conferences, hosts programs and engages in statewide discussions about societal topics facing the state and nation.
During her first summer as a part of The Lyceum, Brooke attended the “Beyond Borders: Immigration & The Texas Economy” conference in Mexico City, where she visited with international leaders at the home of the U.S. Ambassador to Mexico, Ronald Johnson.

Upcoming Lyceum gatherings include a discussion about the components of today’s media relations landscape and the role of law enforcement in our communities.
Open dialogue and the dynamics of interrelationships as it pertains to the ongoing discussions of today’s issues is a key focus for The Lyceum; however, developing the state’s future leaders remains its ultimate mission.
“I am honored to serve as a Director with The Texas Lyceum. The group’s ability to bring individuals in both the private and public sectors together to address challenges and explore innovative solutions is transforming how the state affects positive change for all Texans.”
